  1. Begum Shamsunnahar, Ashalata Sen, Basanti Guhathakurta are there. So far I understand it was the nexus of first women’s social group, “Mohila Samity”, in the then East Bengal. In fact Gandaria was then a locality identified by the stars inhabited therein.
